The name Hale O Na Lei translates to "House of Lei" in Hawaiian, and we opened our doors in May 2022. The store was established in response to the notable scarcity of lei options in Waikiki. While the area is known for its vibrant culture and tourism, many people found it challenging to find high-quality, handcrafted lei that truly reflect the essence of the islands. Recognizing this gap, The Orchid Lei Company decided to create a dedicated space where guests could easily access beautiful lei. Hale O Na Lei aims to provide both locals and tourists with an authentic experience, celebrating the rich heritage of Hawai‘i through our exquisite offerings so that everyone can share in these beautiful customs. Our shop features not only a diverse selection of lei but also keepsakes, floral hair clips, and kukui nuts with orchids all made locally.
