Carefully Shipped from Hawaii to You

At The Orchid Lei Company, we take pride in ensuring your fresh leis and floral products arrive in good condition. Every order is thoughtfully packaged with a cold gel pack to help preserve freshness during transit. For specialty or large orders, we recommend placing your order 1–2 weeks in advance to guarantee availability.

Important Summer Shipping Advisory

During the warmer months, rising temperatures can affect product quality during transit. While we always pack each order with care, we cannot guarantee freshness for orders shipped via FedEx during hot weather.

Shipping Options

It takes 2 days to deliver an order to the Midwest and East Coast, and 1 day to the West Coast (CA, ID, UT, OR, NV). Some areas in Arizona (Phoenix area) and Washington (Seattle area) offer overnight delivery, some more remote areas do not. 

We do not deliver on Mondays, and Tuesday is only available to the West Coast. 

FedEx Priority Overnight

  • We only ship via FedEx Priority Overnight
  • While this is an overnight service, some remote ZIP codes may still take 2 days.
  • No Weekend Deliveries Available 
  • FedEx says they deliver anytime before 5:00pm

Choosing Your Delivery Date

  • We strongly recommend choosing a delivery date one day before your event to allow for delays and ensure optimal freshness.

  • Even with Priority Overnight, exact delivery times cannot be guaranteed.

  • Orders scheduled to arrive on the day of your event are at your own risk—no refunds will be issued if your lei arrives late.

Service Delays

Occasionally FedEx will issue a "Service Delay Announcement" indicating a shipment delays due to adverse weather or other conditions. The Orchid Lei Company will not issue refunds during ANY FedEx Service Delays. All Delays are posted on the FedEx website: www.FedEx.com. We do not offer any compensation for deliveries delayed by any issues that may occur while in route with FEDEX or which result in lost or damaged deliveries.

FedEx is CLOSED on Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day.

In-Store Pickup (Oahu Only)

  • For customers on Oahu, select pickup at checkout.

Substitutions

  • If your selected lei is unavailable, we reserve the right to substitute a similar lei of equal or greater value.

  • We will contact you in advance—please ensure your contact number is accurate and reachable.

Order Timing

  • Kindly wait 48 hours for your order to be processed. 

  • The Orchid Lei Company is not liable for delivery delays caused by extreme weather or flight disruptions.

Returns

Once an order has been shipped, we are unable to accept returns. We utilize third-party carriers such as FedEx and therefore have no control over the shipment once it departs from our facility.

External factors such as weather conditions—including extreme heat, cold, or rain—may affect the product during transit. To help mitigate these risks, we recommend informing us of the current weather conditions in your area and selecting the most suitable shipping method and route.

Your feedback is valuable to us. If your item arrives in a damaged condition, please take a clear photograph of the item and email it to us at toc.online@theorchidlei.com within 24 hours of delivery. Upon verification, we will issue store credit accordingly.
